2 Use of Information

7 Browser Extension (Chrome)

Our "TubeKit AI - YouTube Analysis" Chrome extension processes the following data:

Login credentials: When you sign in to the extension, your email address and password are transmitted securely (HTTPS) to our tubekitai.com server for authentication only. Your password is not stored in the extension; only a session token is kept in your browser's local storage.
YouTube page context: Only the currently open video ID, channel name, or your search term is sent to our server to generate the analysis. Your browsing history is not tracked or stored.
Extension data is never shared with or sold to any third party and is used solely to provide the analysis you request. The extension does not access any other website.

8 YouTube API Services

TubeKit AI uses YouTube API Services to provide channel and video statistics, search, and analysis features. By using these features you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy:

We only access publicly available YouTube data (channel/video statistics); we do not sign in to your YouTube account or store your private data. Data retrieved from Google APIs is not stored permanently — it is only briefly cached to display the analysis you request. You can revoke access at any time via your Google security settings (https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).

10 YouTube API Services

When you connect your YouTube channel, TubeKit AI uses YouTube API Services. By connecting, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Our access to and use of information received from YouTube API Services adheres to the Google Privacy Policy.

Data we access: your channel information (name, ID, thumbnail) and your channel analytics via the YouTube Analytics API — such as views, watch time, average view duration, traffic sources, top videos and subscriber changes.
How we use it: solely to display your own channel analytics to you inside your TubeKit AI dashboard. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell or share it with third parties.
Storage & security: access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted and used only to fetch your analytics on your behalf. Disconnecting your channel deletes these tokens from our systems.
Your control: you can disconnect your channel from your dashboard at any time, and revoke TubeKit AI access at any time through your Google Account security settings.
